 Farrah Fawcett (February 2, 1947 - June 25, 2010)

Farrah Fawcett died June 25, 2009, after a long struggle with cancer. She was 62. Farrah was best known for her role in the television series Charlie's Angels and for a 1970's popular poster that flaunted her long blonde hair and catapulted her to an international sex symbol.
After appearing as one of the "Ten Most Beautiful Coeds" of the University of Texas in Austin, Farrah was invited to Hollywood where she began her early career in television commercials. Farrah's first television appearance was on I Dream of Jeannie. She later appeared in The Six Million Dollar Man with Lee Majors, whom she later married. By 1976, Farrah appeared on Charlie's Angels along with Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. The series was a huge success and attracted followers internationally.

Farrah Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and finally succumbed to the disease on June 25, at 9:28 a.m. (PST).

Farrah was an inspiration to millions upon millions of men and women throughout the world. Her famous hairdo was in large part responsible for a women's hair trend that permeated the 80's. Her smile and sparkling eyes will be sorely missed.

Goodbye Farrah say hello to the angels for us.

I remember Farrah from Charlie's Angels. Will miss that hair. And now Michael Jackson, too? A strange day.

Hi Ronyae,

Thanks for catching the date. That was the second time I did that today! I think when it comes to numbers I'm dyslexic.
