50 Foot Spider in Liverpool
It's freaky and it's creepy. It's spooky and it's kooky. It's a 50 foot, forty ton spider in England! Residents of Liverpool, have been watching the spider now for some time as it has grown and GROWN. They have even seen it moving along the side of a towering skyrise and dangle from high places by a single strand. This Friday residents of Liverpool, England, expect it to begin it's menacing track through their city.
What is it?
It is a robotic spider called "La Machine" that has been brought in to celebrate Liverpool's European Capital of Culture event. For some it is going to be an opportunity to enjoy free theater. For others, who hate spiders, it is going to be a squeamish time. Not, to worry, though, the spider travels at a measly 2 miles per hour.
