He's known by many names, Sasqwatch, Yeti, the Abominable Snowman; but most people just know him as Bigfoot. If you ask most children they'll tell you that Bigfoot is alive and well on planet earth. Many adults, however, scratch their heads when the subject is brought up and reply with one of those prolonged Bugs Bunny comments, "Welllll... could be."
Well, it could be that one of these long sought after legendary creatures has at last been found and captured in Georgia; at least its carcass has reportedly been stuffed into a freezer. The news is all over the internet. Discussions are exploding across the web. The discovery is the hot topic of the day and spreading like wildfire around the world.
Attempts by this author to acquire more information regarding the discovery of Bigfoot have been hampered, in part, because the website maintained by those claiming to have found the body of this creature has crashed. The website has been absolutely inundated with searches from those who are curious to get a glimpse of Bigfoot.
So, what are the facts?
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, members of a California based group known as the Big Foot Hunters, claim to have found the body of a Bigfoot in the heavily wooded terrain of northern Georgia , which has a reputation for Bigfoot sightings. The creature is reportedly over 7 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs over 500 pounds. The creature is male and has blackish-grey eyes, and reddish hair.
So, is it the real thing?
Stay tuned, Whitton and Dyer plan on holding a press conference to announce their findings, with DNA evidence, on August 15th, 2008.

I don't know that I agree or disagree. I sometimes wonder if Bigfoot is just a large gorilla. Excellent photo and a different story to change the pace of the norm. Thank you and God bless you always.Thank you, Michele. This is definitely out of the norm.
